Skin-Friendly Polyester Corduroy Composite Fabric

Standard corduroy garments require lining to address the cord structure's skin-contact limitations — a separate manufacturing step that adds material cost, construction time, and potential quality risk at the lining attachment seams. The bonded composite eliminates the separate lining operation, delivering lining-equivalent skin-contact performance from the fabric's own backing layer while simplifying the garment's construction requirements and reducing the risk of lining-related quality issues in the finished product. The thermal performance of the composite is enhanced relative to single-layer corduroy by the additional insulating layer provided by the backing material.
