DTY (Draw Textured Yarn) is a polyester filament yarn produced through a simultaneous drawing and texturing process that introduces a natural crimp and elasticity into the yarn structure. The resulting yarn delivers soft hand feel, good bulkiness, and reliable stretch recovery — making it a preferred raw material for warp knitting, weaving, and functional fabric production across apparel, home textile, and sportswear sectors.

Specifications

Our DTY range covers specifications from fine to heavy denier, with popular constructions including 75D/36F and 75D/72F for lightweight, smooth-surface fabrics; 150D/144F and 165D/288F for mid-weight applications requiring enhanced softness and surface fineness; and 200D/288F, 235D/288F, and 280D/288F for heavier constructions where pile density, fabric body, and abrasion resistance are primary requirements. Higher filament counts within the same denier — such as 125D/144F versus 75D/72F — produce finer individual filaments, resulting in a softer, more delicate fabric surface suited to skin-contact and premium product applications.
Semi-dull, full-dull, and bright luster variants are available across the range to support different surface sheen requirements in finished fabric production.
